Using Jobilla

Set up Domain for your Job List

How to set a domain name where your job list can be found

Setting up a custom domain for your job list.

Jobilla always offers a Jobilla-hosted subdomain for your job listing so you can start recruiting immediately. You can also use your own custom domain (e.g. jobs.example.com) so that your Job List fits your own website flawlessly.

Jobilla-hosted subdomain can be set up from the Job Lists tab in the software. Open Job Lists and open Domain. Under "Jobilla-hosted Subdomain" you can insert your desired .jobilla.com address. The field will indicate whether the domain is available or not.

Setting up your own custom domain can take about 15 minutes and the changes can take up to 24 hours to become operational. Setting this up requires changes to your domains DNS settings.

When you want to use your own custom domain ask the person in charge of your domain settings to create a new CNAME DNS record that points to “public.jobilla.com.” for your desired job list domain (e.g. jobs.example.com) and inform Jobilla when this is done. It can take up to 24 hours for DNS information to progress, so changes will not take effect immediately.

Once the information has been updated, we will contact you and verify together that the domain is working as intended.
